How To Style Your Human Hair Wigs With Heat Styling Tools
Variability is one of the virtues of a woman. Every woman wish they are the most fashionable in the world. Not every woman can afford it. But fortunately, there are many easy ways for women to keep their steps to fashion trend though they only have limited budget. Set hairstyle as an example, setting a hairstyle everyday in hair salon is unpractical, styling your natural hair with various heat styling tools or chemical process will damage your natural hair and make them becoming more brittle and frizzy. So wearing wigs would be a good choice. Now wearing wigs is popular and normal. People use it not only in party or costume play but normal daily life. There are various kind of wigs which different from material, color, style pattern and length. Prepare your wig and proper hair styling tools
The stuffs you may need: heat styling tools with specific temperature control dial, wig brush, wig shampoo and conditioners, head form ,some T-pins and metal clips.
It is important to use the right tools and products hen styling and caring for human wig. Professional thermal styling tools are designed with a specific temperature control dial with variable heat setting for maximum temperature control.Make sure your wig is dry. When heat styling your wig, always style it on either a canvas or styrofoam head form, and avoid heat styling while you're wearing it. T-pins and a clamp are recommended for ease and security while styling. A head form is also perfect for holding your wig overnight to help keep the style in place.
Curling
1.Heat the curling iron/brush to a temperature between 270°- 280° (132.2 -137.7°C)
2.Once you have secured your wig to a head form, begin styling by starting at the nape. Use 1/2” to 1-1/2” sections of hair (smaller sections for tighter curls, larger sections for looser curls).
3.Spray heat protector conditioner on each section as you curl.
4.Wrap the hair around the iron and let the curl slide from the curling iron into the palm of your hand in its curled state.
5.Secure with a small metal clip or bobby pin until the curl cools and sets (about five minutes).
6.When curling is complete, comb with a wig brush with large tooth into your desired style.
Straightening (flat iron)
1.Heat the curling iron/brush to a temperature between 270°- 280° (132.2 -137.7°C).
2.Once you have secured your wig to a head form, begin styling by starting at the nape. Use 1/2” to 1-1/2” sections of hair.
3.Spray heat protector conditioner on each section as you curl.
4.Start at the root and slowly glide the flat iron down each section of hair to the ends.
5.Repeat until desired results are achieved.
6.Allow the hair to hang naturally and cool completely.
